Scientific meetings

Regional groups such as the Pacific Seabird Group and The Seabird Group hold regular conferences where researchers share new findings. The World Seabird Conference brings the international community together.

Training and workshops

Workshops cover practical skills such as identification, survey methods, ringing, tracking and data analysis. Many are open to volunteers and students as well as professionals.

Public events

Seabird centers, reserves and bird clubs run guided walks, seabird festivals, pelagic trips and talks, especially during the breeding season.
